Old world meet new world culinary. At the turn of 20th century, much of Asian countries was colonized by European and food played a big part of Thailand stayed as their own free state, what was then known as Colonial era. During that era, the restaurants in Vietnam were vibrant places, where successful Vietnamese might cross paths with business people or French diplomats from Saigon. Change was in the air, and yet here one could get a taste of the new without leaving behind the warmth of one’s community.Inspired by the rich early day culinary, We at Colonial Kitchen created the menu of early days ingredients with modern style cooking.
